Taylor Swift is back with a vengeance, breaking a record standing for five years.  After an extended period of not releasing any new material, the recording industry, and just about everone else, had pretty much cast her aside, even snubbing her at award shows.  The 20-year old singer's new album was released last week, and it sold 1,047,000 copies, outperforming the current title holder for sales, "The Machine", which was released by 50 Cent five years ago.  Swift shrewdly marketed her latest work, "Speak Now", as a series of reactions to her romantic encounters, although it remains doubtful what kind of image she will establish for herself after having so many trysts in such a short time.
