Taylor Swift Announces TV Special

    If you're tired of the 100 hours or so of football on television Thanksgiving day, Taylor Swift is coming to your rescue.  The singer, whose return to prominence after over a year of obscurity is back on the right track, will perform in a special airing on Thanksgiving night at 8 PM on NBC.  Titled, of course, "Taylor Swift: Speak Out", it will feature nine tracks from her latest album as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the videos from around the country, including New York City's Ce...

Taylor Swift is back with a vengeance, breaking a record standing for five years.  After an extended period of not releasing any new material, the recording industry, and just about everone else, had pretty much cast her aside, even snubbing her at award shows.  The 20-year old singer's new album was released last week, and it sold 1,047,000 copies, outperforming the current title holder for sales, "The Machine", which was released by 50 Cent five years ago.  Swift shrewdly marketed her lates...

Lady Gaga Fails to Set New Record
