  After a break of over two years, Chief Jack Radio is coming back on the air! As always, even the forces of evil couldn't keep us down forever as we'll finish off our 43rd year on the air and in August 2014 we'll begin our 44th year. Most radio personalities can't match this longetivity. The rest will have done me good. Fox TV: Kara Is Officially Out

Fox announced on Saturday that Kara DioGuardi is now officially out as a judge on American Idol, leaving Randy Jackson as the only original member of the panel.  Kara was gracious and upbeat as she confronted reporters and called her Idol experience "amazing".  Show producer Simon Fuller says that he will continued his professional relationship with the songwriter, who still had a one year option on her contract that Fox didn't exercise.   Rumors still are flying that Steven Tyler and Jennife...

Russian Wildfires Could Pose Radioactive Threat

The surging wildfires in Russia seem to be getting the upper hand right now during the hottest summer in the country's history.  The fires are spreading to the Bryansk region, where in 1986 a nuclear reactor exploded and sent radioactive clouds over a wide area.  Scientists are afraid that the dust that settled in the Chernobyl area could be redistributed by smoke from the fires to a larger region and pose a threat to the population.  Russian officials claim that they have this situation unde...
