Oracle Corporation, which earlier this year purchased Sun Microsystems and acquired its Java technology, is suing Google for copyright and patent infringement for developing the Android system for cell phones.  In a statement, an Oracle official said that Google "knowingly, directly, and repeatedly infringed Oracle's Java-related intellectual property in developing Android".  If the suit is successful, then Oracle will get royalties for every one of the more than 200,000 smartphones being sol...
