Wyclef Jean Officially Out of Race

Hip-hop singer Wyclef Jean has now officially pulled out of the race for president of Haiti.  In a statement he released through his publicist, he said that he is dropping out of Haitian politics to promote a new album.  This is a subtly concealed admission that the country's electoral council has left him off the ballot as of last month, and although no official reason was revealed, it's pretty well known that Wyclef did not meet residency requirements for elected officials because ever sinc...
