Jordin Sparks, like several more recent American Idol winners, keeps popping up just when we're on the verge of forgetting who they are.  The thing is, she's more solidly cemented into our consciousness because she keeps on working and has had a couple of CDs and top 40 songs since winning Idol.  Sparks is currently appearing on Broadway in the 2008 Tony Award winning musical "In The Heights" at the Richard Rogers Theater in New York City.  The bubbly 20-year old plays 19-year old Nina Rosario in the play, and she's working hard at it, including extra practice so she can dance as well as her fellow cast members.  That work ethic is what separates her from other all-but forgotten Idol winners like Taylor Hicks, Ruben Stoddard, David Cook, and Kris Allen.  Fantasia Barrino?  She needed a failed suicide attempt in order to put her in the news again, which is hardly a stellar moment.
