Harold Gould, the well-liked and respected character actor who was Valerie Harper's Father on the CBS TV series "Rhoda", has died.  He passed away last Saturday due to prostate cancer, according to a story in the Los Angeles Times and a family member.  Mr. Gould was 86 and died at the Motion Picture and Television Fund retirement community in Woodland Hills, California.  During his long career, he played Kid Twist in the 1973 film "The Sting", and also appeared in Harper, Love and Death, Freaky Friday, and Patch Adams.  On television, he had a role as Betty White's boyfriend in "Golden Girls" as well as being on Soap, Perry Mason, and most recently Nip/Tuck.
