In the last few years, nations have viewed America's invasions of weaker countries and the installation of puppet governments friendly to the United States in them as a hostile move, but there was little they could do about it.  Some countries, such as Iran and North Korea, are developing nuclear capabilities to hold us at bay, but now the largest threat may be coming out of China.  They are developing a new weapon called the Dong Feng 21 D, which is being called an aircraft carrier killer.  Once fully operational, it will be able to penetrate a carrier's complex defense systems after being lauched from up to 1,000 miles away.  A recent Chinese military blog stated that the DF21D would need only three salvos to destroy an American aircraft carrier such as the USS George Wasjington.  If China sells this weapon to North Korea or uses it against us if they try a military invasion of Taiwan, we would be in serious trouble.
