President Obama signed a $600 million border security bill this morning in the Oval Office with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano at his side. If there ever was a more clueless couple in this world, I've yet to hear about it. The bill calls for hiring 1,000 new Border Patrol Agents and more Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Even before the new Arizona immigration law goes into effect, it's having the desired results. It's estimated that over 100,000 illegal immigrants have fled the state over the last few weeks.
